TANDETRON Accelerator: Material Analysis and Medicine
New accelerator Tandetron MC 4130 was installed in Nuclear Physics Institute of ASCR in 2005 and gives us a big opportunity to develop new analytical methods and to apply this equipment in interdisciplinary research eg. biology, environmental research, materials for medicine etc. In the presentation will be mentioned following topics: main parameters of new accelerator, nuclear analytical methods used in material research (RBS, ERDA, PIXE, PIGE, micro-probe - main principles and applications on different structures including bio-compatible materials, biological and environmental samples).
