Treatment planning from conformal radiotherapy to IMRT

This lecture introduces the treatment planning process as it is commonly employed in radiotherapy. It covers dose calculation algorithms as well as optimization techniques and various treatment options, ranging from conventional conformal radiotherapy to intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT).
