Michał Kurzyński, Faculty of Physics, A. Mickiewicz University, Poznań, Poland

 

 

 

Michał Kurzyński earned a Ph.D. in solid state physics in 1973 from the University of Poznań, where, since 1981, he has held a professorship in the Institute of Physics. His main research interests are the theory of phase transitions in solids, statistical physics far from equilibrium and, recently, the statistical theory of biological processes. Author of three books and over 50 original research papers.
