Proceedings of the School will be published by the American Institute of Physics AIP. The printed book will have Volume number in the AIP Conference Proceedings Series, ISSN and ISBN, and will be registered at the Library of Congress. There will be AIP's Copyright. Conference participants will have one copy of the book and have a free access to the online version.

Length of the manuscripts is as follows:

  • Plenary Courses: 8 pages
  • Short Lectures: 4 pages
  • Student Talks and Student Posters: 2 pages
Manuscripts should be prepared in 8.5 x 11 inch, double-column format. In standard A4 paper size. Detailed instructions, templates (MS Word, Latex) and sample article are given here. Manuscripts will be peer reviewed.

In addition to the Word or Latex file, we ask you to deliver also a pdf or postscript file.

Closing Date for delivery of manuscripts is upon registration: 8th and 9th July 2007. In addition to the electronic files, deliver also one printed copy.

Before Friday 6th July, please deliver two files
  • "YourLastname_proceedings.doc" or "YourLastname_proceedings.tex" and
  • "YourLastname_proceedings.pdf" or "YourLastname_proceedings.ps"
attached by email to

In the email subject please state: "Proceedings manuscript".

If you are using latex, and have figures and/or tables, do not forget to include separately the individual figure and/or table files.
 
Upon registration, please deliver also the following form signed: In case your paper had been previously published (e.g., in other journal), you have to indicate this in the manuscript and deliver upon registration also the following form signed: In case you desire to order preprints (minimum: 50 offprints with price 90 USD), deliver to us also upon registration the following form signed:  All these forms can be also downloaded from AIP.

 
Figures and colors may be used. However, printed proceedings will be only black/white. The proceedings in electronic form will be, for the school participants, available also on-line during one year.
