II: Výzkum a vývoj polovodičových detektorů ionizujícího záření

Aktuální studie vykonávané na polovodičových detektorech:
- 3D a semi-3D polovodičové detektory,
- detektory tepelných neutronů vyrobených z perspektivních materiálů (nitrid bóru, fluorid lithia),
- polovodičové detektory pracující při pokojové teplotě (GaAs, CdTe & CZT, InP).
Fyzikální popis polovodičových detektorů:
- Ramův teorém a Hechtovy rovnice,
- radiační odolnost polovodičových detektorů.
Instrumentace:
- vývoj rozhraní pro koincidenční čtení dat z A/D převodníků,
- materiálové testy (TSC, DLTS, PICTS),
- elektronické testy (I-V a C-V charakterizace,
- detekční testy:
  - spektrometrie záření alfa a gama,
  - měření proudových signálů indukovaných:
    - částicemi alfa,
    - minimálně ionizujícími částicemi (MIP),
    - pulzními lasery.
