A seminar titled "Advanced detection methods in atomic and subatomic physics education as basic and secondary school level" took place at the IEAP. Under the guidance of Z. Janout, V. Vícha and Š. Polanský, participants attanded a lecture "Radioactivty", familiarized with the MX-10 detector and "Simple preview" control environment and worked on their own experiments.
They measured the radiation of primary radionuclides (Uranium, Thorium, Potassium), studied properties of the "School radioactivity source 241Am" radiation and radiation of air radon decay products. By the end of the seminar, attendants were able to work on a task (radiation absorption) on their own.
In the final presentation Ing. Polanský introduced IEAP satellite experiments to seminar participants. After that, they had received from Dr. Popíšil, IEAP headmaster, seminar attendance certificates.
