Abstract
Proton beams from the NPI cyclotron U120M are used with Beryllium and Lithium converters to produce intensive, high energy neutron beams. Primarily, the produced neutrons are used for integral and differential cross-section measurements and electronic hardness tests. Additional experimental techniques are being developed, basing mainly on the use of the timing characteristics of the proton beam (TOF, online measurement of ms isotopes). The neutron generators are part of the CANAM research infrastructure and as such accessible to external users.
