Abstract:
One of the biggest problems of modern cosmology is the existence of accelerated expansion. People have tried to obtain any viable model by modifying the classical theory of gravity. But many of these models were already excluded after the observation of gravitational waves in 2015. However, more options for modeling accelerated expansion in full quantum gravity have recently emerged. We want to mention loop quantum gravity, modified string theory, string gas cosmology, or asymptotic safety program, which supposes that there is no dark energy in the Universe. A completely different idea is used in so-called entropic gravity. We introduce one more possibility at the end, which is a work in progress.
