Trasování s pixelovými detektory Medipix

Pixelový detektor typu Medipix může být používán jako "aktivní jaderná emulze". Tímto způsobem lze každou interagující částici identifikovat na základě stopy, kterou zanechá. Elektricky neutrální částice musí být konvertovány na záření detekovatelného typu. Stejný princip se používá v projektu ATLAS-Medipix. Rozeznávání stop částic je postupně implementováno do programu Pixelman.
