PSMR 2019 - 8th Conference on PET/MR and SPECT/MR
This year Jiri Zajicek from IEAP attended the PSMR conference which took place from 15th to 17th of April in Munich, Germany. The conference aim is the field of multi-modal medical systems operating in a strong magnetic field. The conference hosted participants from 23 different countries, including Czech Republic.
Most of the presentations were dedicated to the topic of connecting MRI with PET in medicinal applications.
The contribution of Jiri Zajicek with the title:
“Experimental MRI-SPECT insert system featuring Timepix technology for multimodal imaging inside MR animal scanner Bruker 47/20”
was primarily based on his PhD thesis which he defended in the end of the last year last. With his presentation he was awarded the Certificate of Achievement for an outstanding presentation.
