The ROBOPROX project focuses on breakthrough research and development in the field of robotics and advanced industrial production by leveraging the flexible deployment of robots with a high degree of autonomy, safe collaboration with humans, control and optimization of production processes, and computational methods for manufacturing and materials engineering. Cutting-edge research in this area will enable the development of more complex, modular and advanced solutions, and will help increase the competitiveness of Czech industry. The project is interdisciplinary and supports flexible development practices that allow to meet changing customer requirements and respect increasing environmental constraints.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
The aim of the ROBOPROX project is to create a base for the growth of state-of-the-art research in the field of robotics and industrial production by supporting cutting-edge research teams in this field, expanding current knowledge, creating original contributions, strengthening the curricula of the project partners and leveraging national and international cooperation and excellent research. ROBOPROX will focus on excellent, internationally competitive interdisciplinary research in robotics involving complex robotic systems, autonomous robotics, human-machine collaboration, design and control of modular systems, structures and materials, scheduling, optimization and decision-making, and other areas of research to transform Czech and European businesses to provide more flexible, complex, competitive and sustainable industrial production. The interdisciplinary activities of the ROBOPROX project will enable new scientific discoveries that will have a strong impact on the European economy and society.
