Nobel Prize laureate lectured in Prague

Only one month after Barry C. Barish gave lectures during the VII Pontecorvo Neutrino Physics School in Prague organized by IEAP CTU in Prague, the Nobel Prize in Physics 2017 was awarded to him together with Rainer Weiss and Kip S. Thorne "for decisive contributions to the LIGO detector and the observation of gravitational waves".
