Visiting Gdansk University of Technology
The CTU in Prague has bound itself to abide the principles enshrined in the "European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers”. The goal is to obtain the HRAward, which is awarded by the European Commission to research institutions that implement the HRS4R strategy based on these principles. The project is realized within OP VVV, where the key activity is to set strategic management of the research organization in accordance with the conditions for obtaining the HRAward. An example for CTU can be the Technical University of Gdańsk, which won the award one year ago.
Therefore, in July 9th to 12th 2018, two CTU employees - Jaroslava Merunková (IEAP) and Alena Králová (FNSPE) - have visited Gdansk University of Technology. The aim was to gain experience and learn from Gdańsk University. All the details of the acquisition and implementation of the HRAward, as well as the systems of managing national and international projects at both institutions, care and support of human resources and others, were discussed.
Within the project CZ.02.2.69 / 0.0 / 0.0 / 16_028 / 0006215 - "HRAward - Development of the capacity for strategic research management at CTU in Prague", FCE, FEL, FNSPE) and 2 institutes (IEAP, UCEEB) will receive the HRAward. Based on this, the faculties and institutes will be regarded as institutions with a friendly working environment and supporting career development conditions, together with transparent recruitment processes and a sophisticated strategy for researchers.
