Mesons and their transitions from spectral Dyson-Schwinger equations

Abstract:
Within the QCD functional formalism, having the approximations controlled by physical masses and decays of pseudoscalar mesons, several meson form factors have been calculated in the spacelike as well as in the timelike domain of momenta. I will present some recent reults for the pion transition form factor, pion electromagnetic form factor as well as I will show extracted spectral function of quarks from which the mesons are composed. Formalism will be reviewed and a possible connection with confinement will be discussed.
