- Probing the properties of strongly interacting matter at non-zero temperatures and densities in heavy ion beam experiments. Study of baryonic matter near the nuclear liquid-gas phase transition on the HADES detector. As part of the international research infrastructure FAIR (Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research).
- Neutrino properties measurement with ARCA and ORCA neutrino telescopes (KM3NeT Collaboration, located at the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea).
- High precision mass measurement of heavy and superheavy elements and laser spectroscopy of heavy and superheavy elements produced in fusion reactions with heavy ion beams.
- Measurement of effective cross sections in X(n, a)Y reactions, where X (Fe, Ca, etc.) are elements present on a large scale in nuclear technology and the human body.
- Spectroscopy of gamma rays, neutrons and alpha particles.
- Study and application of mathematical ideas and methods of catastrophe theory in physics, especially in the theory of electromagnetic radiation. Vavilov-Cherenkov radiation, cuspoid radiation, synchrotron radiation, transition radiation, undulator radiation, parametric radiation etc.
