Mgr. Mária Slavíčková, Ph.D.
Personal data
She is a researcher and Jedi Master specializing in experimental particle physics, with a PhD in Nuclear Engineering from the FNSPE CTU in Prague (2024). Her work focuses on the research and development of detectors for a broad range of applications, including the study of reactor antineutrinos and their oscillations on very short baselines, reactor monitoring, cosmic radiation detection, nuclear safety, and the study of the dark side of the Force. She leads the S3 experiment, dedicated to detecting reactor antineutrinos using a highly segmented plastic scintillator. When not calibrating detectors or interpreting terabytes of data, she can be found fencing, fitboxing, or searching for balance in the galaxy. The Force is strong with this one.
