On July 9, 2015, Nature magazine published an article A very luminous magnetar-powered supernova associated with an ultra-long γ-ray burst, whose co-author is Mgr. Robert Filgas, Ph.D., from the Institute of Experimental and Applied Physics CTU in Prague.
German-Czech part of the cooperation on the article, which allows reciprocal visits of the team members, was supported by an international grant funded by DAAD and Czech MEYS. The above-mentioned article is one of the key results of the astrophysical research at IEAP.
