European Astronaut Centre, ESA
Abstract:
Based at the European Astronaut Centre (EAC), Spaceship EAC aims to enhance the EAC’s capabilities in preparing for and adapting to emerging technologies and exploration opportunities. It focuses on demonstrating innovative, low-TRL (Technology Readiness Level) concepts that are valuable for human spaceflight, using a pragmatic and research-driven approach. Additionally, it seeks to share knowledge and inspire enthusiasm for human spaceflight across various audiences. Spaceship EAC is primarily focused on future crewed missions to the Moon, anticipating the challenges space agencies will encounter while establishing a permanent base on the lunar surface.
