Abstrakt: This seminar focuses on an upcoming update to MMTrackLab, a data acquisition (DAQ) and control program for Timepix3 pixel detectors and other devices. The new version features a new data processing core that permits complex analysis to be constructed from repeated applications of simple data operations such as cuts and transformations. These are carried out in parallel and in real-time, and are therefore suitable for applications with live devices as well as previously recorded measurements. Furthermore, the new version offers redesigned user interface that permits individual panels to be detached or docked in arbitrary locations depending on user preferences. Finally, the new version of MMTrackLab implements support for Gen2 Katherine readout and arbitrary multi-chip geometries (e.g. telescope or quad). All presented features will be included in a public release of MMTrackLab v1.0 that is planned for the end of January 2023. In addition to discussing the software, the speaker will devote initial part of the seminar to providing an overview of his research activities.
Seminář se koná v úterý 10. ledna ve 14:00
v zasedací místnosti ÚTEF ČVUT, Praha 1, Husova 240/5.
