Abstrakt:
With the publication of the 2025 White Paper and the final analyses of the Run 1-6, theorists and experimentalists have updated the muon g-2 value predicted by the Standard Model and that measured at Fermilab. While experimentalists have reached the precision level of 127 ppb, even better than the one foreseen in the experiment design, the theoretical value has dramatically changed compared to that of the 2020 White Paper, with a precision of 530 ppb, and is now compatible with the experimental measurement. In this seminar I will illustrate the reasons that led to this change and finally I will focus on the theoretical calculation of the Hadronic Light-by-Light diagram from the side of the short distance contributions based on the operator product expansion.
Seminář se koná ve čtvrtek 21. srpna ve 14:00
v zasedací místnosti ÚTEF ČVUT, Praha 1, Husova 240/5.
